Gwyn Jones Policies and Procedures
At Gwyn Jones Primary School we take data protection very seriously. We ensure all staff understand the importance of protecting the privacy of the pupils, parents, carers, contractors and other staff members through robust policies and training.
On 25th May 2018 data protection laws changed to give individuals more rights on how their data is used. The changes include the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) which all organisations and schools in England and the EU must comply with along with a new data protection bill.

Requesting Information
You have a right to see information that we hold about you or your child. To access this you must submit your request in writing and be as specific as possible. You can complete the form below and send it in to us or you can write a letter or email school@gwynjones.waltham.sch.uk

Freedom of Information
The Freedom of Information Act (2000) (FOI) requires all Public Authorities (including schools) to produce a register of the types of information it will routinely make available to the public. This publication scheme follows a template approved by the Information Commissioner.
